The Association of Corporate Online Editors (ACOE) has extended warm congratulations to Mr. Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his recent conferment of the national honour Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON).
In an official statement signed by ACOE’s Public Relations Officer, Gbemiga Olamikan, the association described the honour as “well-deserved recognition by the President of the country.”
Reacting to the development, the newly elected ACOE Chairman, Mr. Omosola Akingboye, conveyed his “heartiest congratulations” to Mr. Onanuga, highlighting his outstanding contributions to public service and media integrity.
“This recognition is a testament to Onanuga’s unwavering dedication and service to the nation,” Akingboye said. “We at ACOE are proud to celebrate one of our own and wish him continued success as he discharges his duties at the highest level.”
Akingboye further pledged ACOE’s readiness to strengthen strategic media collaboration with Mr. Onanuga’s office to support nation-building efforts and promote a renewed Nigerian vision.
Mr. Onanuga, a veteran journalist and media entrepreneur, joins a distinguished list of Nigerians recognized for exemplary service and commitment to national development. The Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) is one of Nigeria’s highest honours, bestowed on citizens who have made exceptional contributions to the country’s growth and global image.
