AGRICULTURE EXPERTS MARCH FOR IMPROVED SEED ADOPTION
Nigerian Agricultural Seed Council (NASC), and other stakeholders Today trouped out en mass to affirm there position on the need for the use of quality seeds in the Nations Agricultural sector.
In a march themed MARCH FOR IMPROVED SEED ADOPTION, seed scientists braved the weather and marched over three kilometers from the Eagle Square in Nigeria’s capital city of Abuja to the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development where they were received by representatives of the Minister for Agriculture.
The march kicks off the 2018 National seeds fair and farmers field day scheduled to hold at the National Agricultural Seed Council headquarters Tomorrow, Thursday 4th October, 2018.
Being passionate about the need for adoption of appropriate Technologies in agriculture, the Open Forum On Agricultural Biotechnology, OFAB Nigeria chapter also participated in the march.
