Benue Police Command has received a new Commissioner of Police in person of CP Cletus Nwadiogbu. He has since assumed duty as the 44th Commissioner of Police in the state.
A press statement released by the command’s Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Udeme Edet, showed that the Commissioner of Police upon assumption of office, assured people of Benue State of his unwavering commitment to intelligence-led policing, proactive crime prevention, community partnership and the protection of lives and property across the state.
According to the statement, CP Cletus Nwadiogbu, emphasized that the Command under his watch will remain focused on combating all forms of criminality while strengthening collaboration with other security agencies, traditional institutions, religious leaders, community stakeholders and the law-abiding citizens in the collective pursuit of peace and security.
It added that the Commissioner of Police calls on residents of Benue State to continue to support the Police with timely and credible information capable of enhancing public safety and effective policing across the state.
