Benue Politics: Comrade Richard Gbawuan dumps PDP, Picks ZLP Guber tickect
Comrade Richard GBAWUAN of the People’s Democractic Party, PDP, in Benue State has announced His defection from the Party to the Zenith Labour Party, ZLP, Where he has declared His intention to contest for the Governorship Position of Benue State.
In an exclusive interview with ZITI NEWS, Comrade Gbawuan Who was until now a governorship Aspirant under PDP explained that He dumped the PDP due to what He described as the invasion of the party by those who plunged the state into it’s present comatose state.
Comrade Gbawuan In his quest for the emancipation of workers and the society has worked in almost all the states of the federation, serving in various capacities, assures the good people of Benue state of His ability to takes the state out of its current misery.
51-year old Gbawuan,who hails from Gwer West Local government area of Benue State, currently a Ph.D Student in Security and Strategic Studies at Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Says as part of His mission and vision for the future Benue State, He will remove Benue from allocation to generating Economy where Instead of waiting until at every end of month they converge at Abuja to share from the Federation Account, He will make Benue State self reliant by harnessing the natural resources Benue is endowed with among other plans.
Comrade Gbawuan appealed to Benue State indigenes to vote for the zenith Labour Party in the 2019 general Elections assured that, as a wage expert, He will ensure that Salaries for workers and Pensions for retirees are not only paid regularly but as and when due.
