BIPC Opens Bread, Water Franchise to Benue Investors

…Opportunities spread across all 23 LGAs

The Benue Investment and Property Company Limited (BIPC) has opened franchise opportunities in its bread and water businesses to individuals, entrepreneurs, cooperatives, organisations and investors across the 23 local government areas of the state.

The move is aimed at giving more Benue people a direct stake in the state’s growing business and industrial activities.

Under the arrangement, successful franchise partners will produce, distribute and sell BIPC’s bread and water products under agreed terms. BIPC and the franchise operators will share profits from the businesses.

The company said the opportunity is open to qualified applicants with the financial strength, business experience and management skills needed to run the ventures successfully.

BIPC, however, said it is particularly interested in individuals with at least seven years of proven business experience, as well as a strong record in bookkeeping and financial management.

The company also welcomed applications from organisations, cooperatives, entrepreneurs and investors that have the capacity to manage and sustain the franchise.

According to BIPC, the initiative is part of Governor Hyacinth Alia’s economic transformation programme, with a focus on ensuring that people across the state benefit directly from emerging investment and industrial opportunities.

Rather than simply receiving the benefits of government-backed economic programmes, BIPC said Benue residents should have the chance to become active participants and business partners.

Interested applicants are to address their applications and requests for the BIPC Bread and Water Franchise to the Group Managing Director, Benue Investment and Property Company Limited, Makurdi, Benue State.

The initiative is expected to create more opportunities for local entrepreneurs while expanding the production, distribution and commercial reach of BIPC’s bread and water businesses.
