The African Centre for Leadership, Strategy & Development (Centre LSD) will on Saturday, September 6, 2025, host the graduation ceremony and annual lecture for Set 23 of its Leadership School in Abuja.
Themed *“Leadership and Anti-Corruption Measures in Nigeria,”* the event will convene policymakers, academics, civil society leaders, development practitioners, and students to critically examine the role of leadership in shaping Nigeria’s governance and anti-corruption agenda.
Delivering the keynote address is Rev. Fr. George Ehusani, Executive Director of Lux Terra Leadership Foundation. His lecture will spotlight systemic barriers to effective leadership ranging from nepotism and weak enforcement of laws to lack of transparency while also celebrating the rise of visionary leaders championing accountability and reforms across various sectors.
Speaking ahead of the event, Dr. Umesi Emenike, Centre LSD’s Director of Leadership, emphasized that the gathering would provide “fresh perspectives and practical solutions for strengthening Nigeria’s leadership and anti-corruption frameworks.”
