The Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, CP Miller G. Dantawaye, has paid a courtesy visit to the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 7 Headquarters, Abuja, AIG Victor Olaiya, psc(+).
The high-level meeting, held at the Zonal Headquarters in Abuja, focused on strengthening operational collaboration, intelligence sharing, and community policing between the FCT Command and the Zone 7 formation.
Both senior officers discussed key security challenges within the Zone and explored strategies to improve joint operations and enhance public safety across the territory.
AIG Olaiya commended CP Dantawaye for his proactive leadership and commitment to maintaining peace and order in the FCT. He pledged the continuous support and supervision of the Zonal Headquarters in line with the strategic policing agenda of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM.
The visit, described as fruitful and forward-looking, underscores the Nigeria Police Force’s renewed emphasis on collaboration, professionalism, and intelligence-driven policing to ensure the safety of residents within the nation’s capital and beyond.
