The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has extended heartfelt Eid-el-Kabir greetings to Muslims across Nigeria and the diaspora.

In a statement released Wednesday, Bishop Adegbite called on the Muslim faithful to uphold the spirit of sacrifice that defines the Eid-el-Kabir festival by reaching out to the less privileged. He emphasized that this act of generosity embodies the true essence of the celebration.

The NCPC boss also stressed the need for interfaith harmony, urging Muslims to celebrate with moderation while embracing peaceful coexistence and showing understanding toward people of other religions.

“Let this season be one of reflection, tolerance, and compassion,” he said, while encouraging Muslims to use the occasion to pray for President Bola Tinubu and his administration’s renewed hope agenda.

He added that peace remains a vital ingredient for national development and urged Nigerians of all faiths to support the country’s leadership through prayer and patriotic commitment.

Bishop Adegbite expressed optimism that with unity, sacrifice, and faith, Nigeria will rise above its current challenges and achieve its destined greatness on the world stage.
