The Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) has announced that it will sign formal agreements with selected air carriers and ground handlers in June to kick off preparations for the 2025 Christian pilgrimage exercise to Israel, Jordan, Rome, Greece, and Turkey.
This revelation came from the Executive Secretary of the NCPC, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, during the financial bid opening session for airlifting and ground handling services held on Tuesday, May 13, in Abuja.
According to Bishop Adegbite, transparency and accountability remain central pillars of his administration’s operations. He urged service providers to deliver top-tier service, underscoring the Commission’s commitment to its slogan: “Service and Satisfaction.”

“We urge service providers to up their game by ensuring they put in their best efforts in rendering services to the Commission,” he said. “Our corporate slogan, ‘Service and Satisfaction,’ cannot be compromised. We assure you that your labor of love will not be in vain.”
He lauded the bidding process as open, fair, and fully aligned with federal procurement regulations. “We will not cheat any service provider, and neither will they cheat the Commission,” he stated emphatically.
Following the initial bid opening on April 2, one air carrier and five ground handling companies qualified to advance. The process has drawn praise from stakeholders and observers for its transparency and integrity.
The NCPC reiterated its commitment to ensuring a seamless and spiritually rewarding pilgrimage experience for Nigerian Christians in 2025.
