The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has announced a long-awaited review of fees for its services and products, marking the first price adjustment in over a decade.
The new pricing, which takes immediate effect, aims to align costs with current operational realities while ensuring services remain affordable and accessible to Nigerians across the country.
NIMC has put its Front-End Partners (FEPs) on notice, warning that any agent caught overcharging citizens beyond the approved rates will face strict sanctions — including possible license revocation.
“We are determined to protect Nigerians and uphold the integrity of our services,” NIMC said in its statement released on May 1, 2025. The new price list is now available on the commission’s website, www.nimc.gov.ng, for public access.
In a show of gratitude, NIMC’s Director General/CEO, Engr. Abisoye Coker-Odusote, extended appreciation to President Bola Tinubu, Interior Minister Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, and other partners for their steadfast support in strengthening Nigeria’s National Identity Database.
Citizens are encouraged to report any FEPs charging above the approved rates by emailing ieu@nimc.gov.ng or calling 08155015388.
For more details, the public can also reach NIMC through commercialservices@nimc.gov.ng or nimccustomercare@nimc.gov.ng.
