By Queen Kunde

The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has announced a strategic collaboration with the Renewed Hope National Home Grown School Feeding (RH-NHGSF) Programme to enhance the effectiveness of the Federal Government’s school feeding initiative.

This partnership aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Mandate, demonstrating a commitment to improving educational and nutritional outcomes for children across Nigeria.

Facilitated by NIMC’s Director General/CEO, Engr. Abisoye Coker-Odusote, and Princess Aderemi Adebowale, National Programme Manager of the RH-NHGSF Programme, the collaboration aims to ensure that every school child is registered and assigned a National Identification Number (NIN). This integration will promote inclusivity, transparency, and accountability within the school feeding program.

By embedding NIN registration into the feeding initiative, the Federal Government underscores its dedication to advancing digital public infrastructure while delivering sustainable development and equitable access to essential services for all Nigerians.

The partnership marks a pivotal milestone in the implementation of the RH-NHGSF Programme, highlighting the Federal Government’s drive to use technology for the benefit of its citizens.
