The National Productivity Centre (NPC) has announced readiness to collaborate with the Association of Corporate Online Editors (ACOE) to boost public awareness of its activities and promote productivity consciousness across Nigeria.

The Director-General of NPC, Hon. Baffa Babba Dan-Agundi, disclosed this on Tuesday when a delegation of ACOE paid a courtesy visit to the Centre’s corporate headquarters in Abuja.

Dan-Agundi, who described the visit as timely, emphasized that the Centre has remained underreported despite its vital mandate of stimulating productivity in all sectors of the economy. He said the partnership with ACOE would provide much-needed visibility for the agency’s initiatives both locally and internationally.

“You are most welcome. I am happy to have you. Working with your association in this capacity will really help us in projecting our image. I thank you for coming. We are ready to partner with you, and I can say you came at the right time,” the DG stated.

Commending President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, the NPC boss lauded ongoing reforms, noting that the government’s economic blueprint has stabilized the economy. He cited the settlement of debts owed to international airlines and improved access to foreign exchange as visible proofs of progress.

Earlier, ACOE Chairman, Comrade Sola Akingboye—represented by the association’s PRO, Comrade Gbemiga Olamikan—pledged the group’s support in amplifying NPC’s efforts through digital platforms.

“With over 50 members, online editors possess the skills to craft compelling narratives that effectively communicate NPC’s successes, initiatives, and opportunities. We will leverage digital reach to showcase the Centre’s positive works, enhance visibility, drive engagement, and educate stakeholders,” Olamikan said.

He stressed that ACOE is committed to supporting initiatives that foster national productivity and reduce poverty, assuring NPC of continued collaboration.

The NPC, a Federal Government parastatal under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, was established to lead the productivity movement nationwide and build a competitive economy.
