The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ DAAR chapel celebrates first Posthumous Birthday of the visioner and founder of DAAR Communications PLC, High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, as he clocked 72 years on October 25, 2023.
In a Statement signed by its Chairman, Patrick Abulu, the NUJ DAAR encourages political Associates, business partners, the academia, fellow broadcast industry players, journalists and friends to persuade the Nigerian government to declare October 25 as private broadcasting day.
The NUJ DAAR Chairman charged the Chairman, board and management of AIT, Raypower and Faaji Fm to uphold the legacies of Dokpesi sustaining his vision.
The union urges the Dokpesi Family to remain united to keep their father’s dream of a more united, prosperous Family, Company and the Nation.
