The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) FCT Administration Chapel has congratulated the newly elected Chairperson of the NUJ FCT Council, marking her as the first female to hold this prestigious position.
In a press release signed by the Chapel Chairman, Comrade Ngozi Ufomba, the election of the new Chairperson was described as a historic milestone for the council. “Her emergence underscores her exemplary leadership, vision, and commitment to excellence. We are confident in her ability to deliver on her promises, particularly in enhancing members’ welfare, promoting professionalism, and repositioning the council to attain greater heights,” the statement read.
The FCT Administration Chapel pledged its full support for the new Chairperson and her executive team, emphasizing a shared commitment to advancing the council’s vision and mission. “As a chapel, we wholeheartedly pledge our unwavering support to the new Chairperson and her executive team,” Ufomba stated.
