NUJ: Taraba Council commiserates with Ex-SWAN National VP over demise of brother

The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Taraba State Council commiserates with a comrade, Ex-Deputy National President, Sport Writers Association of Nigeria, (SWAN), Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Moyoyo, over the demise of his elder brother, Late Muhammad Tanimu Sadiq

The deceased passed onto on Thursday 23rd August, 2024 in Wukari LGA of Taraba state

A statement signed by the Chairman of the Council, Comrade Mathew Eliud Jen and released to journalists in Jalingo, the state capital, the union expressed deep sympathy, grief and a heartfelt condolence to Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Moyoyo over the unfortunate incident

The statement pointed out that Late Muhammad Tanimu Sadiq, who passed after a protracted illness, had lived a fulfilled life and left behind impactful legacies that would not only be beneficial to his immediate family but also to those who know him.

It described the deceased as a pillar and conduit through which the family was firmly united and urged Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Moyoyo to take solace in the fact that his brother’s unwavering faith and kindness had reinforced the shared values of mutual respect, understanding, and unity within his family and the entire community at large

“Indeed, this is a painful and an unfortunate incident but we want to urged our brother, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Moyoyo to be consoled with the fact that our brother, Muhammad Tanimu Sadiq had lived a fulfilled life and left behind several legacies that will continue to inspire and influence many in the years to come

“As we mourn this great loss, we want to let you know that our thoughts are with you and your entire family. We hold you close in our thoughts at this sad time, Praying that you will find solace in the remembrance of his good deeds and virtues and in the knowledge that others are missing him too.

“May God Almighty grant our late brother eternal rest and you, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss”. The statement reads in part.
