TSHA Member, Renovates, Commissions VGN Ward Office in Jalingo

The member representing Jalingo 1 in the Taraba State House of Assembly, Hon. Umar Adamu Sarki has reiterated his commitment to contributing his quota in providing adequate security in his Constituency.

He stated this today during the commissioning ceremony of a renovated outpost of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria, VGN at Turaki ‘A’ Ward in Jalingo, Taraba State.

Sarki said he renovated the VGN Ward office with the view to encourage members of the group to continue with their good job of assisting the police and other security agencies in protecting the lives and property of the citizens within the communities.

Hon. Umar Adamu Sarki commended members of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria in Taraba State for their selfless service to humanity and urged them not to relent to continue supporting in combating crimes across the state.

Responding, the Jalingo LG VGN Commander, Munir Bello Abubakar described the gesture by the legislator as a morale booster to them, assuring they will redouble their commitment to duty.

Munir Bello Abubakar, who is also the North-east VGN’s Zonal Deputy Commander of Administration, called on wealthy individuals and other politicians to emulate Hon. Umar Adamu Sarki by supporting VGN in the state.

He reaffirmed their resolve to continue supporting security agencies in combating crimes in the society at all levels accross Taraba State.
