Zenith Labour Party,ZLP, unveils pocket-friendly nomination fees for aspirants
The national working committee of Zenith Labour Party, ZLP, have endorsed a pocket-friendly policy towards the purchase of expression of interest and nomination forms in order to support the aspirations of Not-Too-Young-To-Run Act as follows:
State House of Assembly:
Expression of Interest: N100,000.00
Nomination Form: N400,000.00
House of Representatives
Expression of Interest: N200,000.00
Nomination Form: N800,000.00
The Senate
Expression of Interest: N500,000.00
Nomination form: N1,500,000.00.
Governorship
Expression of Interest: N1,000,000.00
Nomination Form: N5,000,000.00
President
Expression of Interest: N2,000,000.00
Nomination form: N10,000,000.00
The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Comrade Segun Jones said that the party took the decision in the best interest of aspirants stressing that those under 30 years of age including women and people living with disability nomination forms free.
Jones added that the party, relying on its fundamental principle of fairness to all as well as the need to allow every Nigerian express their political will have decided that it would be a big burden on aspirants to charge ridiculous fees at this period of national adversity when many Nigerians can hardly afford three square meals a day.
